About us

Rose & Roots offers career support for ASL interpreters, helping them explore specialties, build connections, and stay informed about industry trends. We connect interpreters with diverse assignments across settings and offer competitive pay.

We provide access to networking opportunities, CEUs, workshops, and certification guidance to help interpreters grow their skills and stay competitive in the field.

At Rose & Roots, we believe interpretation is more than a service — it’s a tool for equity, access, and connection. We’re committed to uplifting the Deaf community and supporting interpreters in ways that honor both culture and well-being. Our goal is to create spaces where Deaf and signing communities are truly seen, heard, and valued.

Rose & Roots provides professional sign language interpreting services within Maryland and the Washington Metropolitan Area, aka, the DMV. From public forums like town hall meetings and community events to religious services, conferences, and counseling sessions—we show up where communication counts.

We’re honored to support businesses through interviews, trainings, and presentations, and we’re experienced in interpreting for sober support meetings and court-ordered programs. In education, we serve students and staff, including in the classroom, ARD meetings and extracurriculars. We’re also privileged to interpret for special moments—weddings, funerals, graduations, family gatherings, and more.
